CLASS MANAGEMENT COURSES
Effective and Affective Communication
Communicate from the brain & the heart
One week course
Communication is the cornerstone of effective teaching, serving as a bridge between educators and their students, colleagues, and stakeholders. For teachers, proficient communication skills are paramount in conveying information clearly, engaging students in learning, and fostering positive relationships.
Whether delivering a lesson, providing feedback, or addressing concerns, effective communication ensures that instructional objectives are understood and achieved.
Moreover, communication facilitates collaboration among educators, enabling the sharing of best practices, resources, and insights to enhance teaching effectiveness. Beyond the classroom, strong communication skills enable teachers to connect with parents, administrators, and the broader community, fostering partnerships that support student success.
But in addition to these technical skills in effective communication, a teacher has to know how to transmit from the heart, imbuing his or her message with emotions that will resonate with the student and go beyond a mere transmission of content with a more or less distant expiry date.
